ATHLETE FACTORY provides professional Strength & Conditioning services to sports and athletics teams of all ages and ability levels.

Our coaches have Olympic Games, Winter Olympics, Paralympics, World, European and Norwegian championships results with multiple athletes and teams from a variety of sports.

We also derive great pleasure helping young and aspiring athletes learn how to train safely and effectively: allowing them to reach their physical potential whilst reducing the frequency and severity of injuries.

 


 

 

 

For many parents, adolescents lifting weights seems scary. However, with correct guidance and technique, injury statistics for supervised strength training are CONSIDERABLY lower than ALL mainstream sports (with the exception of table tennis). However, taking part in sports WITHOUT adequate levels of strength and conditioning greatly increases the statistical risk of injuries.

 

 

ATHLETE FACTORY teaches functional exercise methodology where we use lifts to improve sports specific movements, rather than the primary focus being on becoming good at lifting. E.g. We use foundation movements in order to become better at generating force and withstanding external forces, rather than to be able to lift the maximum amount in the gym.

 

 

Periodisation: Macrocycles / annual training plans / in-season / off-season planning.

Unlike Milo and his bull, we can't continue with progressive overload and get stronger at a linear rate indefinitely:

Instead, we need to periodise our training in order to avoid plateaus, avoid over-training injuries and to maximise strength, power and performance at the correct time.

Our team will help your team with optimal programming models to peak for important competitions and to utilise down-time effectively.
